Loved it Leah! I loved how quickly this dish came together. The boys loved it with ham steak. I used jasmine rice. I must say that this fried rice is better than take out!

Margaret, if you use raw chicken I would do the cornstarch step – leftover fully cooked, no. Just throw it in at the very end if it's fully cooked.

And Eric, the only reason I put on makeup and hairspray to go to Sendiks is that sometimes, a trip to the grocery store is my only opportunity for social interaction throughout the day. Better look like I at least made some sort of effort to look presentable.

Leah, if I use chicken instead of the shrimp do I still do that cornstarch deal? My favorite thing is to “find” dinner in my pantry. Unfortunately, the last time I did that, my family was not happy with the result. Funny, I thought that salami would taste just like pepperoni, but apparently not.
